manti are (guitar & vocals), (bass & vocals), and (drums and percussion) and we are an original, rocking 3-piece band.
The band was formed in 1997, after Donna and David discovered they were both working in the same bookshop in Guildford (don't go looking for it, it's not there anymore - nothing to do with us...)*
Rupert, having played bass in bands with Donna already, was introduced to David.
Having discovered that we all had similar tastes in music (Floyd, Zeppelin, the who etc), we have managed to hone these influences into our own sound.
We are closely associated with Blackout Lighting and together we provide a blistering evening of powerful indie rock.
